We couldn’t find a force plate that was the gold standard. So we created one.
Nearly 40 years ago, our founder was conducting biomechanics research and couldn’t find a force plate that provided the accuracy and durability he desired. Guided by his passion, he constructed his first force plate and began making them for colleagues. Soon, Bertec was born.
